San Diego Gluten-free Breakfast and Bakeries

Brunch:

Breakfast can get boring with just eggs and bacon but these places for full gluten-free menus to please any picky gf eater.

Gorgeous view of the grounds from the Arglye Restaurant in Carlsbad.

Carlsbad:
The Argyle Restaurant: serves brunch on both Saturday and Sunday at the luxurious Park Hyatt Aviara

East Village, North Park and in Mission Beach: 7am-3pm
The Mission: has a delicious rosemary bread and other gluten-free options on their menu.

La Jolla:
Caroline's Seaside Cafe is like a mini getaway with their beautiful view of the ocean.  They don't have a specific GF menu like the ones above but do have lots of options.

*Love Claire's on Cedros for using local and organic goods but their gluten-free items are not prepared in a gluten-free environment.  They list it on their site which is so appreciated!  Not for Celiac.

Bakeries:

Dying for a cupcake or even a grain-free bread?  These bakeries will satisfy your sweet tooth and carb craving.  From the richest of dark brownies to delicious acai bowls.
